Great idea to use icicle lights with simple tie wraps. Easy and quick.

This was my test actually, forgot to post it. I think I will go this route. This was a rough test but I like the looks of it. The only problem seems the icicle spacing is not consistent, some icicles there is enough wire to lay flat, some they overlap. I plan to extend each wire about 1"-2" so they will lay flat. It has 13 of the 26ct icicles. So I should be able to make 2 archs. I believe its a 10ft stick they are on.

Thanks, once I get some 3 or 4 conductor wire I will extend the wires and make it for show, and post videos of course.

Very cool. What is your spacing? I think I will look into this for next year. I am planning on doing arches, and this looks like the route to go.
