Thanks for this post.
This is the last time I'm going to take from this community and not give something back.
New Supporting Member is me! Booya!
That's great, docchop!
I'm sure some thought that price was no bargain, but there were no lights to be had at all in my area when I posted it.
So, if the pursuit of helping others in a "dry area" inadvertently got you to become a supporting member, then it was worth it.
Good for you! And again --Welcome!

Don't mean to be dense, but is this a great deal? The individual boxes were the same price when they were put on the shelf. Home Depot sold them for 2.97 per 100. Am I missing something?

I guess the good deal is, if you didn't get any. you still can and no shipping. I was willing to pay full price on lights at anytime once I started laying out everything and noticed I needed more lights. Stupid me thought that since the lights were plentyfull I could wait and buy more later but when the time came no lights that I needed were to be found. So I took one of the DIY's tips and painted my whites to the color I needed. Turned out good suprisingly enough.
Yea it's a good deal here. We have a Menards and a Wally world close by but both were nearly out of any kind of lights before Christmas. There is a Lowes and A Home Depot about an hour away but I haven't been able to find an afternoon to get there. The free shipping is enough to convince me to order a buttload so that I'll have them on hand for building things in the spring.
