they came on and went right back off...
thye came on and went right back off....lol wtf
You should be able to say select all and they all stay on. Unselect all turns them all off. You can also go individual channels or by holding shift/control select groups to turn on.
When they turned all on then off, did you pop a circuit by chance? They "should" stay all on until you turn them all off.

2012: Added LED Bethlehem Star, nine FAST tubes to the mix, and three LED floods, and an RDS to the mix.
More channels and lights too!!
2011: Running 168 channels with arches, inflatables with LEDs, and of course....about 16,000 lights!
2010: 2 Renard SS8’s and 2 Renard SS16's, and about 6000 lights
2009: Just a small 1200 light static display

Recycle power to the boards? Try again? Same thing with Vixen PC. Restart it?

restarted computer lights came back on so now i have to figure why they wont went sequence is over
Could of been a general snafu, a reboot and cycle the power to the boards will probably take care of it.
Life is a tragedy for those who feel and a comedy for those who think.

Vixen (by default) does a "controller reset" which disables all channels at the end of the sequence execution.
To disable it, open the "Tools -> Preferences" and go to the "Sequence Execution" and disable the "Reset controller at end of sequences" box. Then, whatever the last cell of your sequence is set to do, your controllers will "hold". I use this to leave certain things on all night, and so I don't have a flicker on things like my tune-to sign between sequences.
i'll try that tonight and see if that works hope so ..getting tired of resetting the computer every 30 minutes
For the last little time block on your sequence turn on all the lights you want on. Then in vixen go to tools, Preferences. And under Sequence Exectution uncheck Reset Controller at end of sequences. That will leave the lights in the last state they were at the end of the sequence. You may have to do an all off at the beginning of your next sequence to reset things. I have seen it work both ways.
Failure is always an option.
"Writing it down" is the difference between science and screwing around.
