Default Is there a shortcut to end of sequence, when highlighting a set of channels?

Hi, all - I'm pleased to say, my Helix is running my show great!! However, I am adding to my sequences, and I have to copy over all my data, from one profile, to another, due to a problem with my outputs being incorrect for the Helix.

My problem is, several of my sequences are 9 or 10 minutes long. I have to highlight a set of channels, most often 4 of them, such as the 4 colors of each minitree. When I click on the first box, of the first color, and click n drag down 4 channels, and to the end, it takes FOREVER to get to the end of those channels. Sometime, though, it "jumps" to the end,, after about 30 seconds into the song. That would be great, if I could get it to do it all the time - not sure why it does it, when it DOES do it.

Any idea? I hope I explained this correctly - instead of scrolling the entire 9 minutes, it scrolls about 30 seconds, then hops right to the end, with it all highlighted. I need to know how to do that every time. When 256 channels, it's taking over an hour to copy it over!

    Thanks, in advance!!

You can click on the first box then click on the last box holding the shift key.

    Hi Roger,

My daughter showed me a easy way to copy and paste the channels, click on the first cell you want and hold down the shift key, then use the scroll bar at the bottom of the screen and drag it to the end and click on the last item you want to copy, hit controll c and place the currsor on the new location and paste (control v)

I highlight a channel on the original, move the mouse to the channel description, right click and copy full channel events to clip board... and paste wherever.. Just make sure when your pasting your on the first cell for that channel (speaking from experience) otherwise it'll start where you put it

if any of this makes sense

I never thought of using the SHIFT key. The jumping "happens" when you select the first cell you wish to highlight, then while holding the left mouse button, you go outside the sequence box you are working in and click on the Grey Vixen back ground. You are right though, it is not an immediate response, you have to scroll through part of the song before the jump is made.

    That's a bug in Vixen but because it's useful, it's a 'feature'.
