    Default TriksC connection

I am just getting into DIY, so my show currently utilizes D-light controllers. I am wanting to know if I will be able to add the TrikC into the daisy-chain that is connected to my d-light USB RS-485 adapter then go from the output on the trikc to my controllers. Will I also be able to run my sequencing program (LightShow pro) to controll my lights and the LTC program both sending signal out on the same Comm port, or will I have to get another USB to RS-485 adapter and put the LEDTriks on it own dedicated line.

    Thanks,
    Baelinc

    hi Baelinc

You'll need to use a separate com port for this. Different protocol.

It should be possible to launch the LTC program from LSP and run the ledtriks that way.

Ok, thanks wasn't too sure on that one. But, will the USB to RS-485 adapter work with the TrikC?

Should be fine provided you connect to the right pins. Check the silkscreen of the triksc or the wiki
