These are my favorites. I planed on making a bunch, but never got around to it. Did a prototype that turned out great.

Here is the pole I made and ended up using as the post for my Tune-To sign. To wrap the "Stripe" I used a technique that I stole from my old Sign Shop days. I layed a 2" strip of Red Vinyl Sticky side up on my kitchen table at an angle. I then rolled the PVC Pipe down the table. The stripe is layed perfectly evenly. I didn't experiment at all, but I think I should have reduced the angle on the stripe and the gap would have been narrower.

If you can't get Vinyl striping, the Colored Duct Tape that is available will work great.

I made a PVC sleeve that goes over my lamp post for last year. Worked out really good. If you're looking for that tape it can be a bear to find at least it was for me.... I ended up getting it off of Ebay. Then of course after the guys at Home Depot looked at me funny for asking for it they had a Christmas table decorated with the stuff.

I forgot about those arches on bazillionlights.com. So many projects...

I've seen some with the same top but the pole out of rolled coroplast with a second light inside the pole. Looked great!

Anyone have a source for the 6" acrylic globes?

All I've found so far locally are the glass versions.
    Cheers!
