By the way ....thanks Joeytx got them done in about 10 minutes for both of them...for all of you new folks looking for an inexpensive flood light that doesnt take a lot of power I just got mine converted to only use one channel for one color and they work great...I took mine outside last night and they will do the work of 3 85W incan floods i think.

Thanks joeytx for sharing this. Do you have any pictures of the added board mounted?

I found this video which looks similar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLwLeXdU34o

I used 1 1/2" pvc pipe cut to 3 1/2" long, with standard end caps. I drilled one end 5/8" and used a two screw clamp to lock the wires down. I am going to mount the pipe vertical with the wires down using a 1 1/2" emt clamp.

    Total cost:
    2 ea Caps 1.29 ea.
1 ea Pipe Cut .20 ea.
    1 ea Clamp .35 ea

    Total: $3.13.

Thanks Joe, if you remove the RJ45's, would the board fit inside the flood on the other side of the LED?

You would probably have enough room you mount it inside. If you used SMD optos you could definitely fit it.

I'm going to buy one of these, if the other half doesn't object.

Packing wasn't too flash but no damage thankfully.

Don't suppose you have a part number for SMD optos?

There’s several at Mouser, both H11A1 and 4N35. It’s the same part though; they just bend the leads out for SMD. It’s called ‘Gull Wing’.

You’d get the same height if you skipped the socket.
