    Default Bronners

Has anyone ever been to Bronners? http://www.bronners.com/

I was wondering if it's worth the drive up there; 5 hours away but who knows might be worth finding a reason to go up there. Unless their website is just as good of course...

i wish we had a store like them in my area....i am tired of seeing the same cheap crap ; i want nice decorations especially if i am going to spend the money on them ...i also like that they carry older style decorations and collectibles. Costco is the only place other than a few random sears or macy's decorations i can get that dont look cheap. LOWES had a few things that didn't look to bad; Walmart is horrible sometimes the painting on their decorations dont even align to the edges of the lines.

Bronners is a great place, definitely worth going to in person at least once. Grew up not far from there, it's quite the experience. Much of what they have is available online, not sure it's everything though, and the in person experience is quite something. I don't know that I'd say it's worth a long trip every year, but if you haven't been, I'd say go for it. Frankenmuth nearby is a neat stop too.

As far as pricing goes, they are a bit high on common holiday decorations, but they've also got alot of unique items, some of which you won't easily find elsewhere in the US. As with many stores, just have to be careful about what you buy where.

Thank you!!! I don't know a thing about the area of course and I asked my wife about going. She said I'm sure there is an indoor water park around there somewhere. Bam!

yep, the indoor water park is at the bavarian inn. they serve a mean homestyle chicken dinner as well frankenmuth is basically bronners plus a main street about 2 miles long with door to door small shops. save room for the fudge. i think sometime in february is the huge snow/ice sculpture festival.

Bronners has tons of quality items. 90% of which are ornaments. You name it, they got it.

We make an annual trip up to Frankenmuth for the holidays. Great holiday vibe. I agree that Frankenmuth is a nice small town but I can't imagine staying more than a day or two.

If it's any consolation, there are two breweries there. Frankenmuth Brewing and Sullivan's Black Forest. Nice beers and both wife approved/family friendly.

The whole of Michigan is beautiful in the fall and a trip to Bronners is well worth a drive - I always go out of my way on any trip through Michigan to spend some time there - even if I can't afford to buy most of the stuff in there I still get inspired and get ideas of things that I will do in my own indoor and outdoor displays.
