Default Any recimmendations for LED vendors?

Can anyone recommend an LED vendor. I have been surfing Ebay and can't seem to find any that are reasonable. Of course, I am not entirely sure what a reasonable price would be.

I am looking to get straw-hat super bright LEDs for strobe modules.

    Any recommendations?

    Thank you

    Depends...
    Color?
    Mcd?
    Size?
    and Qty?

I have always got them from ebay sellers. Invariably, someone will post a "good deal" and I will scour ebay until I find it cheaper?
So "reasonable price" is a relative phrase.

I have done a lot of business (more than 2000 loose LEDs so far) with

    http://stores.ebay.com/bestshop2008hk

While it was a couple of years ago, I did get them to build me up a specific order -- some odd-ball quantities -- which they set up as a specific "buy it now" listing with free shipping. I have had only two complaints in all the orders: once, there was one batch of LEDs (again, a couple of years ago) that had a higher-than-anticipated infant mortality rate and another time the blue LEDs they shipped were very pale -- more like cyan than blue. I was shipped replacements poste haste.

    YMMV.

I've used BestHongKong in the past for loose LEDs - not sure if they have any better prices/quality but they responded to queries and resolved a minor issue with the overall count shipped right away. I think they might have an eBay store as well...

I've also had success with this vendor. Since it is a vendor from China, shipping isn't the fastest.

Seems like they have issues often. Took me almost 2 months to resolve a shipping issue with them. They didn't properly seal 1 of the 4 AS bags of 1000 LEDs, and the thin paper package got a hole in it loosing about 480 LEDs. After they told me to go to my local post office and having them pretty much laugh saying "inadequate packaging" contact the shipper it took a PayPal dispute to get them to take action, and only on the last day of the 14 day dispute did they finally refund the lost amount.
