Default I-cybie As A Base For An Animatronic Rudolph?

Well, I know that there are rudolph dolls and based on this image, the I-Cybie uses 3 wire motors. Does this mean I could theoretically use a servodog or a similar controller to turn it into a cheap platform for animatronics? Unless that isn't the motor and its a rotation sensor. I'm on vacation though, so I can't check mine. Also, what do 3 wire Ni-Cd batterys have that 2 wire variants don't?

Well, another forum gave information that the legs are servos. The head may not be.

    Hi:
I don't know much about servos, etc, but the 3 wire batteries are two or more cells connected with the Plus and Minus in the center. A wire is connected here and that is the "common". The plus and minus of the batteries are connected so that you have a Plus and Minus supply. They are connected in series.

The Plus side of the battery and Common are the Plus side. The Minus and Common are the Minus supply.
