Default Source for bulk Replacement Mini lamps.

I am looking for a reasonably priced vendor for mini-light (2.5v) replace bulbs. This would be my first purchase for just replacement bulbs and I am uncertain of what price would be a good deal.

Additionally, I am looking for wire frame clips (1/4").

I have looked at Betty's Christmas House and they seem ok to me. Are there any better deals out there?

    Thank you.

replacement bulbs....hmmm...best price I have found is to buy a 100 ct string. You get a spare wireset and 100 bulbs for $3.25 before Christmas and maybe alot cheaper afterwards. I have found that replacement bulb pricing is so unreasonable as to be stupid.

The clips from Bettys have been known to work well. I can't remember where I got my last few bags from...it's been a few years, since I haven't had to update my wireframes for a few years. This year will be different, in that there are several that need new lights, but I just came across a box with 2 or more bags, so I won't need any for awhile.

Also worth noting is that the life of a standard non-commercial string is 3000 hours (same as a 60 watt house light). If you end up replacing more than 3 or 4 bulbs to get a string working, its probably time to pitch that set.

How many of what colors are you looking for? [I have quite a few in storage]

I am looking for a couple hundred I would guess. Not certain though. The frames I am redoing currently have C7's on it and I would like to convert it to mini's

If I were converting or building new frames, I would certainly switch to LED's. I know its not cheap, but its long term.

with the amount of labor involved I would have to agree with Kelly on this one.

I do have about a dozen LED strands, which I normally do not use in the larger "show". Will standard mini light clips work or do I need to look for "LED Clips?"

    Thank you
