I doubt you'd notice much difference between 90% and 100% in terms of brightness and that would put your current draw on the pic down into the mid-80's... a little breathing room there...

    Hi Dave,

that is the total current on the +5 volt supply,,, there is only about 3 to 4 ma across the PN2222a and about 9-10ma on the 5 volt supply for each strobe module,,, so 3-4ma on each channel of the PIC and 9-10ma on each strobe module is about 12-13ma total on the +5 volts

There is going to be a few hundred of them ordered very soon, we had to make a small change on the PCB's, the pot was wired backwards on the first PCB's so min. and max. was reversed ...

    Isn't that just a silk-screen error?

Mac, could you also add a BOM and DOCs for it somewhere? They're relatively hard to find...

The DIGWDF Store is the place to go for wireless stuff for Renard... controllers, adapters... or other junk that
nobody else would probably ever make. It's all in stock right now at http://diychristmas.org/store

Here is the BOM for the Strobe Burst Module. I will add some info to the Wiki under Simple Renard's this week.

These babies rock. Especially when you have different time bases on adjacent strobes.

That's how I set mine up and I also like the ability to fade them on and off at times.
    Thanks for the comment.
