Thread: Do we need a design for FM transmitter?

Why not group together, pick a design specifically for the light display applications, get it certified and market the darn thing and put to rest all this question of which is better, what is better, how can this be solved, etc etc etc.

Opportunities lie everywhere...you simply have to look.

IMO, it's a fruitless endeavor. There will always be somebody who'll think his/her solution is just a bit better, or easier, or less expensive, or smaller, or more this or more that, and then the discussion starts again...

It's the nature of DIY to discuss, ruminate over possible solutions, ask questions, try things... and not take any advice if one so chooses...

The DIGWDF Store is the place to go for wireless stuff for Renard... controllers, adapters... or other junk that
nobody else would probably ever make. It's all in stock right now at http://diychristmas.org/store

Not sure if we are still chiseling this block of granite, but was doing some research and found something quite interesting.

Size is a downfall, but provides great space for us DYI'rs; stereo output, rds, built in power supplies.

I would not let the size be of any concern. The overall design looks real good and they took the time to add proper filtering and bypassing throughout the entire design.

It is a very good candidate for these light display applications.

When we had this whole discussion two years ago, this site was also examined.
His designs and rehash of some of the pira work was not as finished as it is now.
I agreee that this now looks to be a possible DIY alternative.
