Exclamation LED Group Buy closing January 31

Just a reminder to your members that our LED group buy is closing on January 31st. Visit http://www.MagicInTheSky.com/lighting for more details. This is a great way to add LEDs to your 2011 display at a very low price. You can email Ryan@magicinthesky.com with any questions.

to be honest with you unless you need the lights before November then buy them but if you can wait then go to costco they cost the same and are of just about the same quality. Otherwise you can get LEDs at a after holiday sale discount for alot less....(i know these are commercial grade leds with about double the bulb life span)

I don't like the fact it is being called a group buy. I think its directly misleading and it's clearly a for-profit venture. For that reason alone, I would stick with purchasing from Paul at CDI.

    Jacob,
Why don't you just be clear about what it is? We certainly welcome new vendors here, but if you are making any profit from the sale of the lights, it os disingenuous to call it a group buy.

I think "GROUP BUY" is a misunderstanding on their part......... after all it is (hopefully for them) a large group buying a single line of product.

I dont think pricing is bad (less than CDI) and you dont have to buy full cases.

What i dont like is the lack of firm shipping pricing (dont know if CDI does the same... any help ???) nothing in the order form addressing how much it will cost, I did email them and got a aproximation for what im was thinking of ordering.

AFTER saying that i DID order about $150.00 of lights (hope my faith was not misplaced) and will update on how close the shipping prices came to the estimate.

What happened "Hi my name is Jacob J Dell and I am new to this forum"? ...What about making your first post the day you join about something other than your wallet?

I thought this was a community not a market share! I thought we had rules.

    Just my 2 cents.

what i think happened is Jacob just joined as himself.

The thread offering to sell LED strings has been around for about a month probably under an different "member". He works for (or owns) a firework important business and is using his connections in chins (or somewhere over there) to supply LEDs to us at good pricing. He (they) have sent samples to other members for testing and i think the samples turned out to be of good quality and to me at a fair price.

So give this guy a break...... with the site having the problems it is... maybe this was the way he thought would get to the members who wanted to get into the order. Not what we are used to around here.

I think he just posted here announcing the order is about to be sent and get in if you want.

I don't have any connection to him or the company.

REMEMBER SANTA IS WATCHING DO YOU WANT TO BE ON THE NAUGHTY OR NICE LIST???

I believe if you read the history of his and Ryan's posts (mostly on PC), you will see where they are coming from. Also, if you check their prices, you will find that they are MUCH cheaper that what Paul or anyone else for that matter is charging for comparable merchandise. They are offering LED stringers at a fair price. This is their first time doing it. If you want to participate, do so. If not, don't. We don't need to automaticaly jump to conclusions about their business ethics or intent. BTW, on the CDI Pre-Sale, you don't know what shipping is until it is sent either..................
