Default Anyone have parts for Kostyun DMX Servo and Mighty Mini

Kostyun's site is pretty beat up with no real information on assembly downloadable BOM lists etc.

But I was able to cut and past and for the servo Mouser is backordered on a lot of parts, so figured if someone had some parts.

Also does anyone have the instructions for the mighty mini and maybe a bom or parts list? (also any updated build to help with some of the blow outs that would be nice).

    Thanks

No servo info but here is a link to the MM instructions:

I purchased my LED's from C LED or something like that and they sent resistors. There was some discussion about burning out LEDs so I changed the values of some of the resistors based on current measurements.

While the stock resistors allow about .95 - I modified to run in the .80 - .87 range.

I lost your email address, PM me the info and I'll send you my current draw data - ya, it's the current data too.

check out the posts on using LM317's for constant current in the mminis. A little more expensive to build that way, but a better finished product.

The resistors from c-leds have never been right. I got my leds from shop4leds on ebay.

I've read 2 or 3 threads and none of them gave me a warm fuzzy that this fixes the issues that people are citing.

This stuff is over my head..

And Greg people cite that C-leds shipped cheap resistors with their LED's.

UUGH learning curve on some of this stuff is sharp

I haven't read anything about the LM317 other than good results. I have 3 mighty minis running with resistors (at about 95-104mA) and 3 with LM317 (I used a 13.2 ohm 1% resistor, don't remember what that limits current to).

Both have worked fine for me. I do believe that many of the issues were due to the wrong resistors in the original BOM, and then the wrong resistors being consistently shipped by c-leds.

Whether you choose resistors or constant current, I think you're fine as long as you do the math for yourself.

I have a blog post that is pretty good if you want to use resistors. There is a thread with a PDF build guide for constant current-- also very good.

I've got four MM's equipped with LM317's that work great, and I've already bought housings to make four more, soon as I see a decent deal on LED's. From personal observation/experimentation, unless you have some rock solid LED's that you know won't go into thermal runaway, I'd choose the LM317's (or some other form of a constant current device) over resistors only every time. FWIW, I ran my MM's every night for 4 -5 hours for the month of October, and am running them 4-6 hours a night for the month of December, and haven't lost a LED yet (knock on wood).
