I have an idea. I seem to be able to get the pieces to work with java, but for reasons i will specify later, i was hoping to do this with a perl script.
Haveing some issues getting started and would really love some help.

I've fudged my way through some perl before (had an entire website running off of perl with MySQL backend before.. sold it a few years back so I'm a little rusty).

Provide more details.
