Greeting all. Well the summer is officially over this weekend. I am ready to focus on the holiday shows. I have expanded my show and added a few features. Time to start programming. Is there any word on version 3? I don't see any posts from KC since April. I hope he is OK. Has anyone discovered any secrets to make the programming even easier?
    Regards,
    Mike

I would suspect if 3.0 was on the horizon you would have heard about it by now. Enjoy programming.

First and Foremost, a very BIG thank you to KC for writing the best light control software in history. No matter what the future versions bring, Vixen keeps getting better and better! it may not do some of the things we want it to do, but it does what its supposed to do, very very well.

ok, now im going to climb on my soap box for a minute. I mean no disrespect for anyone here, but i feel this needs to be said. after reading this thread It seams to me that a few people have forgotten what setting our lights up and doing the blinky flashy every year is all about. why do we spend hour apon hour setting up our shows? to give joy and happiness to those who come watch every year. KC gave us the gift of Vixen so we can pass on the gift of our passion, joy, and happiness. yes, it is cool to have the best light display in town, but the reason we all do this is so much more. Seeing the people who watch our displays year after year, seeing the eyes of a child, or even the adult that feels like a kid again as they watch. Believe it or not, what we do is magical. every time one string of your lights blinks, there is at least one person who see's it that feels joy and happiness. KC didnt give us a program, he gave us a tool to bring happiness and peace to a screwed up world full of violence. this very thread shows that people need something to bring them to a good place. again i am not trying to upset anyone, or disrespect anyone. we all need to not worry about what or when, just enjoy the gift we are given so we can continue to give our gifts every time the lights come on.

i mean, come on guys, KC has allready proven he can write a better program then bill gates and i know that for a fact, windows crashed while i was testing my show, pc was unusable but vixen continued to run the rest of the show.

    Hi:
Well said, Jonathon Reinhart. I thoroughly agree with you.

And, that's all I have to say. (Isn't that a switch?).

Really? You are going to post Vixen 2.5 issues in a nearly 9 month old Vixen 3.0 thread? Please put your question in a new thread and I'm guessing it will be more likely to get answered.
