Get your rest, and you will be good as new in no time. I went to the E/R a couple of years ago, was sure I was having a heart attack.......... turned out it was Acid Reflux. Whew!
(didn't know they had wifi in ICU...:D)
Wishing you all the best with your recovery!

I'm glad the stent did the trick! Even so, an extra prayer here and there always helps, too! Try to get some rest in the hospital -- even though the nurses and doctors do everything in their power not to leave you alone so you can!

The DIGWDF Store is the place to go for wireless stuff for Renard... controllers, adapters... or other junk that
nobody else would probably ever make. It's all in stock right now at http://diychristmas.org/store
I'll keep you in my prayers.
God Bless!
Mark,
I'm glad to hear it turned out OK.
I had a stent in 1998 and didn't watch my diet as well as I should have, and in 2001 I ended up with a quintuple bypass.
Both times I never had any pain, only some shortness of breath.
My advice; watch your diet and keep your cholesterol down!
You are in our family prayers, a couple year ago my mom had the stent thing done. She is doing great now. Stay positive and in no time you will be back.
God Bless
John
Mark,
I'm extremely thankful you are on the up-swing and are recuperating. You will most definitely be in my prayers. Take Care.

Just an update after a few months.
Back in May, cardiologist noticed on the ECG some atrial fibrillation - that's the top half of the heart beating irregularly. A week or so ago, had a cardioversion, which is the shocking of the heart to stop the afib - all that went well.
However, last Friday, during normal exercise session in rehab, the bottom half of the heart started throwing "extra" beats, called PVCs. That behavior is potentially more life threatening than the afib. Went back to cardiologist and am now scheduled for an ICD implant in mid-July. They can't do the surgery till then since I just had the cardioversion. An ICD is similar to a pacemaker, but only delivers a shock to the heart if it goes into a bad rhythm. In the meantime, I'm wearing a "life vest" which is an external defibrillator vest that monitors heart beat and will deliver a shock if I go unconscious. Cool technology, but with a pack that hangs by my side all the time.
Thanks for your thots and prayers - they definitely have made a difference.
