Default Well time for an outdoor electrical upgrade

well the other night at 11:30pm we blew 1 cartridge of our 60 amp safety switch that comes off my meter. i had to make a mad dash around town trying to find a new cartridge fuse. so my plans this year are to upgrade the main safety switch panel to a 200 amp one and run 100 amp to the house and 100 amp to the garage/christmas lights. cant wait to get that done. if i killed the cartridge with only 25k lights i hate to see it when i get the rest up, lol. i hope my cousin can get me a good deal on one. i have seen them for like 150 bucks. 1 nice thing is he owns his own electrical contracting company and my uncles are reg. elect. so that will save me some cost woot.

Check Craig's list. I found a 100 amp one for only $20 that I used for a remote panel. It was new in the box and even came with the breakers that I needed. I added the GFCI outlets.

i tried looking with no luck. the saftey switch ones are a pita to find over 60 amps. i have plenty of breaker space left in the garage and on the pole. i have 2 subpanels to feed.

i do like that setup. very nice.
