Google Map of DIYC displays?

I tried searching the forums but didn't see anything like this so apologies in advance if this is a known fact...

Has anyone created a Google Maps set for DIYC displays? Seems that this would be a good way to be able to find and view shows by fellow DIYCers wherever you happen to be.

Look at the Member Map link above. Its a Frappr map. I would like to see everyone update the map with their link

DOH! Guess I should have seen that... But -

When I clicked on the link the page displayed said that the "classic" maps are being retired and you have to pay to keep them active for a year. Not sure I like this...

There was also an option to export a KML file. If this Frappr map is really going away would it make sense to export the KML and set it up on Google Earth?

Also - I wonder what percentage of members actually have running displays (I am a new member and don't yet have one) - is there a way to denote an active display?
