Hi guys & gals, I'm ALMOST there with getting my Ren24's up and running (Frank's v3.3 boards) - but I'm scratching my head a little with the input setup.

I'm supplying 24vac to the board, but getting nothing on any of the test-points. After a bit of fiddling I figured that this is probably because 24v is not enough to get the required 12vac output from the transformer, and therefore the control circuits have nothing present.

My question - what do I need to do to run with 24v input?
Checking the specs of the DB102G rectifier, it will take up to 35V (RMS) as an input, so I could possibly use the 12v input jumpers and bypass the transformer completely, but this will result in the 'cooking' of the 7805 regulator due to too high an input DC voltage there. Do you guys replace the transformer with a simple 24v-12v model (if so where from?), or is there some other trick ?

Cheers,
Geoff
