Was keeping an eye on my YouTube views and was wondering why my one video had jumped several thousand hits in a matter of days.
I found a link from this site to be the major contributor.
I wondered what they possibly had to say about my wonderful video to cause all those hits.

These over the top pompous synthesizer versions of Christmas classics that make trailer trash think they're being high brow are just fucking horrible. It blows my mind that there's people who have spent thousands of dollars making Christmas light displays that are synchronize to this musical diarrhea. What better way to celebrate the birth of Christ than pound out holiday hits that sound like the keyboardist of Asia lost all of his fingers in a meat grinder?
Oh well I learned not to take anything personally years ago.
On that note. I went out at 9:45 last night to film the display for my own copy that I can look back at in future years.
As I get started a car pulls in behind me and kills his lights.
A little later I see someone walking in the street and I see the light of a viewfinder. He is also filming my display.
I get done hang a Uee at the end of the block and circle back to my drivway.
I think what the heck Ill go talk to him. Turns out they were just at the McDonalds about two blocks away and decided to check out the lights.
They had no idea that this display existed.
He thinks the lights are cool and its great that I would set something like this up.
I told him that he was lucky because he was seeing almost the last show on the last night(at 10:30 the lights went dark for the last time)
I told him this was only practice and Christmas would be up by Dec 1 and would be much bigger.
I can guarantee you that they will be back and they will tell everyone they know that you have to see and hear this house.
I think I am going to get some candy canes and and pass them out on the weekends. And maybe a red sweatshirt with one of those cheesey fake beards.
Its fun talking to people who appreciate your work.
