Hello all im new to the forums here. I was wondering if there is a driver for this http://www.pencomdesign.com/8ch_relay.htm what will work with vixen. This is a serial device which is 8 channel with up to 16 addon boards pretty cheap to setup also.

There is nothing currently made, but one could be made.
Looks like a byte string of AWXXX can set all 8 relays at one time. Not a difficult string to dump to a serial port.

It would be interesting if a generic serial driver could be made for digital control. It could load from some config file at install time the prefix, byte configuration and addressing mode of a serial protocol.

This would only work for On/off stuff

not a bad controller if your not experienced in electronics and allows more then 8 channels if you buy a few of them
