Future feature?

Hey Greg, (and all other Helix users...)

What's your thoughts on adding a feature to play background music in between shows when using Mode 1? Vixen has the capability to do this so Mode 3 is a no brainer. Since Mode 1 is all Helix, it would take some coding, I'm guessing in Show Builder to do this, but, I think it would be a nice additional feature.

Thoughts?

It is something that I've already been asked to add. I don't think it would be very difficult to implement. You are correct that it would require an update to the Show Builder and the firmware. I don't have time to code this up this year but it will be on the list for next year.

If there is any other features anyone would like please post them here and I'll add them to my list.

Thanks. I didn't know it had been asked for already.

And, I'm in no hurry, whenever it gets done is fine with me. I'm starting on my other two Helix units and my 20, 12 channel SSR boards, so I know full well the time issue... ;)

As for other features, I really don't have any other ideas right now, unless you can figure out a way for these things to assemble themselves... ;)
