Using Channel Groups

Can someone give me a brief primer on how to use channel groups? (I'm using beta 2.3.3)

After being away from the forums for almost a year, I'm astounded at the leaps and bounds by which Vixen has advanced! I managed to figure out and set up a profile and if channel groups do what the name implies it sure would be nice. I just can't figure out how to create a group and add channels to it.

Is this where you virtually re-order your channels?
I'd really like to know if so....
I have candycanes spread out everywhere, I'd like them in one group somewhere, for chasing etc.

I have not figured out groups yet but reordering is relatively easy.

I am going to assume you are working with profiles.
Bring up your profile with the profile manager.

On the middle right there is a channel order box.
When you select Define New Order a window ill come up that will allow you to create a new order.
Just drag and drop.

When done select the next icon to the right to save the new order and you will be prompted for a name.

Back in the sequencing window just select your new channel order.

If you are not using a profile just ignore those parts.
The other steps are still the same.
