what version to use?

well i want to start making the lighting sequences for this up comming light show, but i was wondering what version of vixen i should be using. Should i be using the Beta 3? When there are other updates, will the my sequences still work? will they be deleted?

If you move up to Beta 2.0.3.3 then all your work will continue to follow through future upgrades. I have been using 2.0 since it 1st came out and all my work has stayed with me.

If you have some 1.0 work then you would need to convert them over to the 2.0 format. You do this by downloading and installing 2.0, but do not run it yet. Once it is installed you then need to copy and paste your 1.0 sequences to the sequences folder of the 2.0 installation. Once they are there then you can run 2.0 and it will convert the 1.0 sequences automatically. This can only be done the 1st time you run 2.0 as the conversion process requires a self deleting file.

Notice the copy and paste reference above. This is just incase of a glitch you still have the originals.
