I know ive seen a post...(tried searching still cant find) about a way to make the Ren T without the seperate PCB that was used in the begining. Hope someon knows what i am talking about. Or what i can do to make one. I have my Grinch and Ren C but missing last piece.

Thanks,
chris

I am doing the same thing this year with my Grinch from last year. Since Ren-T's seem all but impossible to find anymore on any Co-op basis some alternatives have been created to using it. I haven't tested this setup yet as I am still waiting for my Ren-C and RS-232 to 485 converter to arrive but here is some of the documentation. Post #6 http://doityourselfchristmas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8839
and the pcb for the zc board that I am using is here

try this post. Option 2 is the easy one. Very simple to build.

I found the ren-t package on forum and was sent ren-t 2.5 package so I could make my own board.
