When I first started this idea last year, there was a multi channel outdoor tree for about 220 dollars, (memory estimate). Now I can not find anything remotely the same. It was pre made all done no headache for this year. Does anyone know where I might find this? A few hours saved for me right now would be sweet and worth the money.

Try Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes. They all have a similar unit in my area.

What kind of tree? This doesn't ring a bell for me. There's a new type of tree out this year that has white globes that contain LEDs. It does all kinds of patterns and colors. It also has music and will light in sync with it. There is a set of 3 that sells for $299. There are a couple sizes of single trees too. I've seen these at Garden Ridge, Big Lots, walmart, Kroger (grocery store) and other places that I'm not remembering at the moment.

I saw the music tree at Michaels and BJS . Only has 5 songs?
and I think it is way overpriced
