I have been designing my layout (preliminary) for Christmas and checking out all my stuff before I really get down to placing things. That’s when I noticed on my house I have an stucco like finish that no clips work on (recently moved from canada with siding and eves millions of these clips). Just wondering how I would attach light without stapling (dad would kill me) to the finish.
Any help would be appreciated Thankyou.

I have the same problem it if fun isnt it. What i did last year was to use adhesive zip tie mounts every foot or two and that worked pretty well. Its not perfect but what is.

I also live in AZ - and I actually use packing tape in some cases to hold the lights up.
(hey, it works...)
In other cases, I drill a small hole in the stucco, and insert a screw holder (the plastic inserts)
if you look up at the tile roof you might see places to attach a string ... this is a maybe....
I saw where one guy tied a string to the tile about every 4 or 5 feet then took and hung a 1/2 conduit to hang his lights...
