California FireStorm

Over the last four days there has been many fires in southern california. i have heard around 8 fires. With all these fires surrounding where i live, i got a call from the school district, saying that all schools around me are closed due to the bad air quality and in addition to the fact that one of the fires is very close to many of the schools around my area. :D :D :D :D

i find it funney that back east there are snow days, but out here there are fire days. 8)

But right now the fire is a couple miles from my house so for now im safe. :|

I have no experience with this but how is the air quality worse than at the childrens' homes than at the school?

thats the thing, 2 weeks ago when this was happening, (well its still going on but not so close to my area), all the kids got school off, and they werent even at there houses they were out running around shopping and what not. we just thought of it as a 4 day weekend! :D as for me i was in the garage working on x-mas lights :lol:
