Ok I have not completely tested it with a full array of lights, but all channels work on my led ssr tester !!! This is over the top ! This may be lame for you forum oldtimers or those that do electronic projects in their sleep... But this is relatively new and amazing to me!
Last year, I dipped my toe in the water with the parallel 12 driver on Vixen & 3 crude, half wire-wrap, half solder ssr's - but it worked - I was hooked. This year I am working my way to 32 channels with some real circuit boards.
I need to thank whoever posted the wiki with grinch for beginners troubleshooting , and the full grinch troubleshooting pages. You saved my project. You obviously took a lot of time & care to write those docs so that newbies could follow the procedure.
While I have not been a contributor on the boards, I've read a lot, and learned all about Christmas lighting. Vixen is amazing, and you controller circuit designers, wow, that's huge effort to make Christmas a little brighter all over. This is a great community. You're all computer-light crazy, and now I am too.
Thank you all.

I'll second this. I'm a reelative newcomer to this sport  but the generousity and willingness to help along with quality of the designs that are put out by members of this forum are AWESOME. I dove in with both feet and am working like a maniac to get something together for this Christmas.
I don't want to brag or make anyone feel bad but my wife is pretty cool with this AND she knows how to solder from a summer job she had while in high school. An extra set of hands and she's better than I am at the really small stuff. How cool is that!
Egaadz, Congrats on getting your feet wet!

Alan,
You are a lucky man, indeed!!! Your wife knows how to solder AND is pretty cool with all this. Although my wife generally rolls her eyes at me when I say I'm going to the garage to work on my light stuff, she was genuinely excited the other night when I showed her my first light arch in action. Of course I was excited about it too.

Rog,
It wasn't long ago that many of us were putting together our first boards and were very excited. It's cool to hear that it's going well. You will become obsessed, and your wife will hate us more. Good thing I'm in CA.

Between SSR's Grinches, Renards, PCI DIO converters and all I have probably now put together more than 200 boards large or small
AND I STILL GET SHIVERS every time I put some parts together and it works!

Thanks for all the encouragement folks!!
Now, I have 1 month to dream up something for Christmas... How long is an average "show" ? 4 songs? 10 songs?
I've read that some work on their selections & programming routines from Feb +
This means I'm way behind, and I just got started.
So I figure I have the following to-do's:
Inventory my lights
Plan my yard for 32 strings
Pick songs
Chart the songs in vixen
Setup lights
Setup FM broadcast
Make FM tune-to sign
?????
Suggestions for my TODO list would be deeply appreciated.

Congrats!!! I think my first daughter being born was the only better feeling I have had. (Strange, I know...)
Avg show length is whatever you feel like doing, IMHO. I'm still sequencing and am at 9 songs.
