Ok guys and girls I just found this site and have not even started reading anything yet so I am sure to find lots on answers to my questions but I am going to ask anyway. My wife and I have been putting lights on our house for about 10 years now we have conventional big screw in clear bulbs (c9 or c7) the larger of the two and we have 12 strands of them. I run three strands per extension cord so thats 4 extension cords all over the house and I think 25 bulbs per strand so we are talking 300 bulbs or so. Then I have a tree in front yard not monster maybe 20' tall with 6 or 7 branches I run clear tiny strands wrapped tight up trunk and each larger branch and there is bunch of lights on it and it looks ok. Now here is my question for you all, last few season's while driving around especially in rich neighborhoods people have super bright white lighting on there house and there trees look like they are on fire they are so bright. What are these people using and where is best place to get it? I am guessing it is some type of LED maybe but not the same led as you get at walmart or target because I purchased some last year and they were not bright at all very dim. Please help me with this I would love to change this season. Thanks Chris

If they are real white white and very bright you can be assured they are some high end LED's. There are several vendors mentioned on this forum that sell comercial grade LED's and some members order from them. (I'm not giving anyone a plug, you'll have to search for them yourself)

That being said, just remember, that LED lights are not REAL Christmas lights. They are just lights.

This is what I am looking for but white lights in the tree and on the house. What are these lights and where to get them?

LED’s are in the eye of the beholder. Some like them and some, not so much.:-|
