Using the Launcher plugin to show pictures

Have been looking for a command line capable program to show pictures during a sequence.

I tried PowerPoint Viewer but it launches a new window with every new command.

Has anyone seen a "slide show" that can be controlled by a command from a DOS window or a command from a serial port input?

I found a program to control the slides in a PowerPoint presentation but it costs $125.00 and I was hoping for some freeware.

the launcher can open a .exe right? i had a slideshow program that made them into exe's let me do some digging and see if i can come across it

The laucher can run any file that will run from a command line. In the laucher dialog window, type *.* instead of a file name to see all the files. I have been able to run .bat files.
