Was at Lowe's today, and noticed the 6' extension cords that had been under $1, are now up to about $1.30 both in the aisle with the christmas stuff and the regular electrical aisle. Any one else noticing this? Think Home Depot will follow in their footsteps?

The Home Depot in my area has the 6ft lamp cords for 94 cents. Just saw them when I was in picking up grass seed.

Walmart drop cords are $.94 here. 6ft. brown and white.

At least at my lowes, they upped the price of the cord in the electrical section.
But the christmas stuff is out now, and if you go to that section the same length cord is 0.97, then make sure you get a 10% or more coupon and drop the price another dime.

It seems to go up and down periodically - maybe a seasonal thing, or cost of supplies.

Last year I noticed it go up and down a few times also.

You can always try Wally Mart as well. They're about .96 there as well.

Now they are up to $1.47 at Lowe's near me. Won't be getting any there anytime soon.

This weekend, Home Depot had 6 ft extension cords for $0.94 - White and Brown.
Was mentioned in earlier post and they are still at same price.

and some have mentioned that they are at $0.88 in their local HD but I have not been able to find any in the south side of Houston. :(

my hd and walmart are both 94cents. but after my walmart discount they go to 84 cents :)

These are still at $.97 at both Lowes and Home Depot.

Some one mentioned a 10% discount at HD. How?

This is cheaper than buying SPT and putting a female vampire plug on the end, right?
Just cut the male plug off and wire directly to the SS24?

Last night: 6 foot extension cords at Menards for $.88. Colors brown or white.

Dollar Tree's by me have 16 Gauge 6ft in Green for... well a $1 of course. I bought 140 from 3 stores in the spring and will be going back over the weekend to get the others I need. I like them because the are Heavy Gauge and Green.

Some stores seem to carry more than others and They don't seem to be available on their Bulk Sales website so they might be carrying them any longer.
