I may need to know for this years show as I plan to run 2 different shows on different nights.
Say for example my left field sequences (Twisted sister, Crazy Frog etc. on M, W, F.
Traditional stuff on T, Thurs, Sat.
Everything on Sunday
Using Vixen 1,11
As another question, I think it was a bug from last year but can one leave the computer on 24/7, have all the lights stay off then come show time the show starts again.
I recall some glitch that some of the light strings stay on all the time.

Doug,
A scripted sequence consists of commands compiled in C# programming language. If you just want to run different shows on different nights of the week you do not need to use it.

The problem you are referring to occurs with the Olsen 595 and it has nothing to do with Vixen. The issue is that the 595 chips tend to change state when they have not received any data signals for long periods of time. So the show will turn off and then a couple hours later some random strings turn on. The way around this was to have KC write a scripted sequence for me that sends out an "all off" data stream every second when no other sequence is running. Thats a scripted background sequence. I do not know of the Grinch design suffers the same fate as the 595 does. If you are using 1.1 I can send you a copy of the scripted sequence. If you are using 2.0 then I can not help as I do not have a scripted sequence for all off in the 2.0 language.
