I just bought about 72 boxes of these for my miny trees that will replace the incandescent bulb that I used last year. I have tested these out and there is a small flicker when dimming them (You probably wouldn't notice it from about ten feet away I'm guessing). I would definitely say that these are 1/2 wave and at $3.05 a box it is pretty cheap considering that two boxes would give you a 70 count strand for $6.12. The picture that is posted on the site stinks to say the least. These are a brilliant green from what I have seen so far.
These are from Ideal True Value and I have heard some members complain about their service. I put in a order for six strands in July, just to test out the lights and I did have a little difficulty having them send out the shipment expediently. After a call on my part that got the ball rolling pretty quickly. The second time that I put in the large order I didn't notice a problem at all. Again that has been my personal experience.
