I just got done building my first XMUS board, and have stumbled across my first issue.

I've loaded the Diag code on both my PICs, and watched the Channel 2 LED of both PICs blink slowly. Good to go!

Hooked up lights to Channel 6 and ran a test through VIXEN. Lights blinked slowly when data was received...Good to go!

Hooked up lights to Channel 8 and jumped J1 and J2. lights come on. Good to go!

Hooked up lights to Channel 5. Lights stay steady on. No blinky..Not so good.
So I'm guessing my zero crossing is not working.

I don't have a scope, and I don't have a good camera, (Only my phone). I verified the connections to neutral AC, and it's screwed down to the screw port closest to the RJ45 jacks. (not the NC port)

I reprogrammed the chips with the latest firmware, and tried a test run through VIXEN. No lights blink on any channel. I can stil get channel 8 (both of them) to light by jumping J1 and J2.

What should I try next?

EDIT: Ok, I'm a complete EYE DEE TEN TEE.
Note to self: Do NOT put a MOC3023 where a H11AA1 chip is supposed to go.

Everything working great now!! Thanks DAVE!!

Hilarious, you are as bad as me! (replying to my own posts!)

Glad you figured it out. Phils new diag code rocks doesn't it?
I mean, you can seriously debug without an Oscope.

:)
