I have only been able to loop a song from the end of the sequence. While sequencing is it possible to loop only the first five seconds? Or perhaps loop a short piece within the sequence? This would be a big help in my sequencing. I am using version 2.1.1.0.

Select the cells/range that you want to loop. Click on the loop button. (just to the right of stop) Then use the drop down for the play button just to the right of PLAY. There is a choice. Select play only the selected range. Then when you're ready hit the play button to the right of PLAY.

Thanks for the info wmnf911. I did not know that was there, mainly because when I hit the PLAY or the drop-down menu I get a window telling me that com port 4 does not exist. When I click OK to clear the window, the sequence begans to play. I never get the oppurtunity to click on anything in the drop down menu. Now I need to know how to keep that window from showing up. Any suggestions?? - - -Jim

Are you sequencing with the controller defined in your sequence (or profile) and is it connected? It sounds like you do but don't have the controller/cable connected maybe?

If you are only sequencing and not really sending anything out to a controller, budude is right, go to the profile setup and uncheck the controller/s. You will not need to check this until your ready to test your board/ setup your display. Usually you only need the preview checked. This should take care of Vixen going out to check and make sure the world (your setup) is ready to go prior to starting the sequence.
