Alright Technical Gurus. I am trouble shooting my 595 but think the real problem is with the parallel to RJ45 connections. I used the RJ45 to DB25 adapter bought on ebay from at the following link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180097756623&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=008

My thought is that when putting the pins into the connector I might have used the wrong rj45 pins.

Does anyone have a picture or explanation on how to figure out which pin is which on the RJ45 jack? Also an even bigger question is how to figure out which is which when looking at the back of the jack. 2 rows of 4 both off set from each other.

Your help would be great

Here is a quick drawing of the jack if my numbering is correct for the top picture can someone from right to left and then top to bottom give me the pin numbers for the bottom drawing?

Going by your pictures, I would guess the pins are numbered this way.

In my RJ45 - DB25 adapter the color coding goes:
RJ45 ________________DB25
Pin 1 = Blue
Pin 2 = Orange
Pin 3 = Black __________Pin 18
Pin 4 = Red
Pin 5 =Green__________Pin 1
Pin 6 = Yellow
Pin 7 = White__________Pin 2
Pin 8 = Gray___________Pin 14

Talk about timing. I was just aseembling mine tonight. My color coding is slightly off. Pin 7 on mine is brown and pin 8 is white. Thanks for the help!
