I cut a vertical notch a 1/4" wide and 3/4" long in the back panel. I ran the cat 5 and power through the cut and then sealed it with clear RTV.
I placed my sign near the front of my display, but the cat 5 was almost 65 feet long. I had to shorten it to about 35 feet to get a clear display.
