Vixen not loading

I have seen a few post over the past few months about Vixen not working ,Just get the microsoft error.
It just did it to me also. Seems that some were down the line .net framework 2.0
was upgraded to 3.5 .
In my program list I had .Net framework 1.0 -2.0 and 3.0
I uninstalled all versions
Installed .net 2.0 now Vixen works fine .

So far as I can figure it has to do with the windows downloader.It is responsible for taking the older files off the updated system.For some reason it doesn't do this very often.It took me 11 attempts just to get .net 3.5 to fully download and install correctly but leftover files (install files) were still left behind.Once they were removed everything worked perfectly..
Hope this helps explain some issues that Microsoft knows about.
