Just jumping in to this, (possibly over my head). Have finished 2 595's and nearly finished 32 SSR's by Sean and finally took a look at Vixen. WOW I'm in deep poop. Besides the known learning curve, the question is, will the 595 only support on/off or does it support all that dimming, shimmering, shaking, (maybe that was me shaking). Thanks in advance.

to do dimming you will a ren-c for each 595

The 595 boards alone are only on/off. To use the dimming features you mention you will need the Ren-C's as stated above along with a Ren-T for the zero cross signal. If you used the parts list for the 2.4 SSR boards (Sean's coop boards) they are fine for dimming.
It is getting a little close to crunch time to try and change up to dimming for a first year, but can be done.
