Adding channels to a profile

Hello everyone...

Once again I'm playing with profiles in anticipation of this year... Here's a question that I think I know the answer to but would like to ask to confirm.....

If I take the profile that I used last year and add channels to it....and leave the name the same... will my old sequences from last year still run using the new profile or do I need to save this updated profile under a different name and then....detach the sequence from last year's profile and then reattach it to the new profile?

Does that question make sense? LOL....

They should run just fine as you described there. I have done that myself without problem.

My experience is that you can have more channels in a profile than a sequence.

You can’t do this in a sequence though because Vixen will complain that your sequence has more channels than your plug-in’s.

You can have a profile with 1024 channels and a sequence with only one and it will play just fine.

Thanks folks.....that's what I thought.... but didn't want to take the chance until I could confirm.... Actually I think I made the mistake one time early on and tried more channels in my sequence than in my profile....not a good experience....Grinched me out...LOL
