Hi all

I got a grinch board partially soldered off someone and he told me it was working with one chip.

I rigged up a 5v dc from my pc power supply and attached it and got no power.

I have definitely got 5 v dc at the termination and I also have 5 v dc at the header but the led doesn't light.

Is pin1 of IC U1 top left next to the half moon?
That should be 0 vdc right? and which one is pin 24?

What else can I test for?

Thanks
Daemon

EDIT *** I have solved it. It was a poor solder on the ground wire.
Still wouldn't mind knowing which pin is which on the ic's though.
Thanks for looking

Ask and you shall receive. :D

BTW: When having problems checkout the Grinch troubleshooting guide.

Thankyou MR or MRs Lunatic

I do always read the guides and wiki but I tend to think upside down and inside out making me very hard to communicate with and pass information to!

Cheers
