I was trying to create a border sequence that I could then overlay text on. Unless I missed something it seems I would have to create the boarder to each frame of text.
My request to have LedTRICKs support a background sequence of frames. I could build the boarder or what ever else in the back ground then have it repeat until the foreground sequence is done. An example would be a boarder that has a chasing outline, then the LedTRICKs sequence would be scrolling text with the background running under the text. It would be interesting to create a variety of backgrounds then share them on the board. People could download and including them in their text sequence to jazz it up some.
Another option would be just to set it up to allow multi layers. So many sequences could run at once on top of each other. It may come in handy to animate. In cartoons you have many layers, so background, foreground, character... Maybe in the preview window each sequence would be a different color while it ran... :)
