Now that there, and will be, at least 50 sets out there. How are you housing them in the yard? Lets see some ideas!!!

I am using the broadband enclosures for the other boards. I will need to see if they have smaller ones for these.

I put the word out to the local freecycle, that I am looking for the "jugs" that coffee now comes in, as opposed to the tins of days gone by. I plan to turn them upside down on a stake, slit the bottom for cords, and silicone the lid on. Should be more than waterproof. Here's the ones I'm using, with the square ones preferred:

So far I have about 25 of them, hope to have 100 by the time I set up the display. I get them at work, also, probably one or two a week...

Just my way, keeps them out of the landfill, plus, they are cheap, cheap, CHEAP!

I LIKE cheap!

as I don't have the sizes of the actual remotes, I don't know if these will fit, but they do have a lot of sizes, this is just one of them, that might be close...

Great Idea Rodger!
I can get those at my office to! paint them black and they will "disappear"

They have some bigger, but then the price jumps up to around $8, then.

Bigger enclosure - 3.75 X 6.5 X 2.75 (http://www.yourbroadbandstore.com/product.php?pid=714748)

Still, pretty reasonable, as one or two systems will need either 4 or 8 of them. I am using the coffee jugs for SSR's, because I can get up to 4 in each, if I "stack" them. Not sure, as I haven't been grocery shopping in years, but maybe they make smaller coffee jugs, that will fit the FM's? Guess I'll have to check... :o)

That's a great idea. I like the fact that it would look so inconspicuous. "Why does this guy have coffee cans out on his yard?" This may be a very cheap and effective anti-theft device in and of itself.

I just had a lady give me some, that are smaller than the regular tins, and they will be perfect for the SSR's, where I only have one or two boards. The larger ones will hold up to 8 boards easily, if I stack them right.

I used the pvc pod method for my ssrs, cost about $7.00 total, and the broadband boxes for the controlers. I built what is known as the bazooka's for multiple ssrs like for the megatree. I'll be replaceing the megatree bazooka's with 2 ren 24's this year. The pvc pod for the ssr works great. I'll get it posted on what I used on my website, but there is plenty of room for the board with a heatsink. They worked well.
