Triks-C Jumper question

I just finished building my Triks-C and had a question regarding the jumpers. The 8 post header, I know the jumper goes on the first row, but what about the 6 post header? Does a jumper go on any of row's there?

Also, where do you guys get your 5volt transformers? I can't seem to find a regulated one.
