This is one of those things which is very non-critical, but would be nice to have.

When using the channel test feature (which is handy for those of us bringing up new hardware) it would be great if a channel assigned to a dimmable plugin had some kind of slider instead of a checkbox. That way the dimming of the channel could be tested instead of just on & off.

Just a thought.

That would be easy enough to implement, but it sounds like RJ has something more substantial in mind. I'll see what he has in mind before acting on it.

KC,

What I had in mind is a additional form that has a interface like a lighting deck. When selected it would display a number of sliders with 0 to 256 postions and the ability to set the channel it controls and then allow you to manually control them. This would work to test dimmers but also allow me to manually point the robo light and note the positions for programming the shows.

The other thing that would be awesome is with all the rgb stuff were all doing with like the Ledtrik II and the little light globes and me with the robolight it would great to be able to create channel groups so three channels could make up a rgb channel and be set with a color picker to fill in the values.

I know give me give me give me.

Thanks for the great software.

How about a slider in the channel test for now with something like this once things are more stable?

begger can't be choosers. I'll take anything you give us. I know we are a demanding bunch. "make it do everything" , "Make it perfect" , "give it to us for free" .. geez its amazing you do anything for us.

Thanks

It helps that you're a decent (and patient) bunch of guys.
