Strobes in Mega Tree?

Hi Guys,

I have a 10ft Mega Tree, 48 channels (16 red, 16 green & 16 clear) I want to know how many curtain strobes I need to look good on the inside of the Mega Tree. I have 14, is that enough?

My tree is 12' and I only had 8 strobes, and I thought it was good. So a 10' tree with 14 should spectacular! :)

My 10'er (really 12 when you count the topper) uses 15 strobes. It looks great, however I may increase it to 20 this year.

I'd have you take a look at the videos on my site, but they aren't working very well right now. My wonderful webhosting provider (1and1) once again doesn't believe me that there is a problem with their server. Hopefully they'll be working again sometime this weekend when I change hosts.

I had 20 in my 12' and I would not add more. I also agree that 14 should work well in a 10' tree. Besides, your visitors will never say, boy, he could use more strobes in that tree.

I have the feeling that I am going to come to the same conclusion. 15 in a 10'er looked great and still gave the impression of a tree shape when going. My thought is that 20 may give it an even better shape. If however there isn't enough bang for the buck, those 5 extra strobes will be put into the display elsewhere.
