This is my first attempt at working with raw plastic. I live close to a tap plastic store, but have never been inside until this weekend.

The RJ-45 ports are standard 24 port 1u rack mount patch panels. I had one that needed a use so I built the case and added an additional 24 ports.

I am using an AC 12volt wall work for ZC. The case has been removed. The 5v source is from a surplus open frame switching power supply.

The SSR is shown in 1/2 of a pod (2" PVC cap).

In the picture only 1 Ren64 board is wired to the ports.

I like what you did especially the patch panel on the edges. :D

Did you solder the cat 5 or what ever you are using directly to the Ren board? What looks funny about the PIC chip on the lower ren lower right PIC?

I soldered cat-5 on to the bottom of the Ren board in place of the PCB mount rj-45 plugs.

The low right PIC Chip has a label on it 'DIAG'. I was using the Renard diag firmware to check things out. I have since then replaced the firmware with the latest beta code, but did not remove the label. I had some extra PIC chips on hand, but I built a Ren64 for my neighbor. That took me down to my last chip, the Diagnostic one.

The shot edges are 1 1/4" thick clear plastic. The top and bottom are 1/8 thick clear plastic sheets. Tap plastics cut everything to my spec. I did however buy some plastic drill bits.
